Used to identify the location of a pedestrian crossing point. The tile is used where a sidewalk meets a highway or where there is a lowered curb.

Platform Edge Warning Surface
Rail platform blister surface is used by the visually impaired to identify off-street rail platforms. The blister surface can be read by foot or cane, warning the visually impaired that they are approaching a rail platform edge.
Shared Cycle Track / Footway Surface And Central Delineator Strip
The surface is used wherever the shared route begins, ends or crosses a carriageway. This Rib tile helps to ensure that the visually impaired enter the route from the correct side, thus avoiding collisions with cyclists.
