Installation

Corporation's Visul surface mounted Detectable Warning System tiles are designed to make installation simple. The consistency of the adhesive and permanent flexibility of the tile ensures a quality installation every time.



To ensure a first class installation and complete customer satisfaction, we recommend that you have installation training.

The instructions below are intended as a guide to installing our detectable warning system. Please download our document on installation as well.

Clean area, preferably using a surface planer. Lay out tiles to correct configuration and chalk around tiles. Mask around the tiles using duck tape.
Mix adhesive thoroughly and comb out to an even layer, ensuring the comb grooves are running along the direction of lay.
Roll the tile down into the adhesive evacuating all air.
Remove duck tape. Clean the joints with thinners. Cured within 30 minutes for pedestrian traffic, and 1 hour for vehicular traffic
